UEE Asks For Hyun Bin’s First Impression of Her
Actor Hyun Bin revealed his first impressions of After School’s UEE through a phone call while UEE was making an appearance on the January 17th episode of SBS’s “Night After Night.”
UEE, who was a member of the audience on the show, asked Gong Hyun Jin the secrets behind her ability in casting top name stars such as Jang Dong Gun, Won Bin, and Hyun Bin for her radio program. Jung Sunhee added that Gong was quite the popular figure amongst the radio writers for being able to cast figures that can barely be seen on such programs.
Seizing the opportunity, UEE surprised Gong by asking her for the opportunity to participate in a phone call with Hyun Bin. Although hesitant, she agreed, and connected the call to the actor.
UEE exclaimed through the phone, “I’m ‘Juwon’ obessed lately. What do you think of my first impression?“ Hyun Bin replied, “You seem like a very nice person.”
She then asked him to do the drama’s trademark, “You’ve received a text message!,” line, and although shy, he put the studio in a frenzy by doing the voice acting as she wished.
After School’s UEE shows up her swimming ability.
Idols gathered on SBS Lunar New Year special program, “Idol King” broadcasted on 2nd February. Recording took place at Pattaya, Thailand.
On this program, UEE was selected as the most popular female idol between the male idols. Just before the plane took off, UEE received proposals from 3 male idols to be their ‘Sit-partner’.
Also on this program, UEE and Krystal fell into the swimming pool then MC Kim Jaedong said, “Show us your swimming abilities”. UEE who graduated from Athletic School starts swimming and showed her skills and was good as a mermaid. Especially, she showed up the “Swimming Flower” pose that received lots of attention.
Meanwhile 2PM, SHINee, Super Junior, Big Bang, Kara, F(x), Secret members also appeared on this program.
Onew Gets Dumped By UEE
After School’s UEE selected as popular idol among the male idols.
On SBS Lunar New Year special program “Idol King”, idols flew together from Seoul to Thailand. Just before the plane took off, There was a mini couple selection to sit with each other. and UEE had the most number of votes.
The male idols have to approach the female idols and ask, “Is this seat taken?”. Female idols need to sat still and answer the boys’ question.
First, Bigbang’s Seungri proposed to 4Minute’s Hyuna. Then followed by SHINee’s Minho who proposed Kara’s goo Hara, and 2PM’s Chansung proposed T-ara’s Hyomin.
But the most popular is “Healthy Beauty” UEE. Park Jungmin and SHINee’s Onew selected UEE, but UEE picked Onew instead of Park Jungmin. 2AM’s Jinwoon also wanted to sit next to UEE. Once again, UEE dumped Onew and selected Jinwoon over Onew.
Lastly, 2PM’s Nichkhun proposed After School’s Lizzy as a ‘Sit-Partner’
Meanwhile, UEE crowned as a “Queen” while Big Bang’s Seungri crowned as a “King” on this show
UEE & Seung Ri are Queen & King of Idols
On “Lunar new year special King of idols” aired on the 2nd, Bigbang’s Seungri and Afterschool’s UEE were voted the King and Queen among idols.
They showed off their charms and skills through variety of games.
Seungri surpassed Shinee’s Minho, 2PM’s Nickhun and managed to get the king’s place, and UEE surpassed Kara’s Hara and T-ara’s Hyomin.

UEE cameo "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho"
Rival Go Mi-nam (Park Shin-hye) di "You're Beautiful", UEE dikabarkan akan muncul juga sebagai cameo dalam drama SBS "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho / Nine-tailed Fox" dalam episode yang mengudara pada tanggal 25 Agustus 2010.
UEE akan memerankan seorang mahasiswa yang terkejut melihat pose yang tak terlihat dari Mi-ho (Shin Min-ah). Alasan UEE membuat penampilan cameo di drama ini katanya karena dia dekat dengan salah satu penulis drama SBS ini. UEE menerima tawaran tersebut tanpa ragu. Dia menjelaskan, "Aku punya banyak harapan untuk pertunjukan ini dari awal. Ceritanya terasa segar dan hidup. Aku senang muncul dalam sebuah drama yang bagus ini".
Uee diserbu fans berat Seungri !
Sejak UEE After School muncul di acara SBS "King of Idols", mini homepage-nya telah menjadi super sibuk.
Bagi yang belum mendengar / tau tentang "King of Idols", itu adalah acara khusus Tahun Baru Imlek dimana banyak bintang Kpop saling bersaing dalam berbagai permainan, para bintang idola juga harus berpartisipasi dalam 'permainan pasangan', di mana mereka harus memilih pasangan dari lawan jenis. Syuting berlangsung di Pattaya, Thailand untuk dua malam dan tiga hari.
Ketika episode ditayangkan pada 2 Februari 2011, penggemar Big Bang khususnya penggemar berat Seungri menjadi marah pada UEE yang telah mengabaikan idola mereka.
Pertama, selama permainan 'King of Strategy' (di mana tim lawan harus mendorong satu sama lain ke dalam air), UEE menyatakan, "Aku hanya ingin mengalahkan Seungri" dan akhirnya mendorong dia ke dalam air selama pertandingan. Selain itu, selama pertandingan pasangan, Seungri membuka hatinya untuk UEE - hanya untuk menerima ucapan "Tidak, terima kasih" dari UEE. UEE akhirnya memilih Jinwoon 2AM.
Setelah menonton perilaku UEE ini, penggemar Seungri menyerang mini homepage UEE dengan komentar jahat dan kasar.
Jjjjiiiiiaaaahhhhh jadi pengen ngakak deh padahal kan cuma "game" kok jadi serius gitu yaks reaksinya....hadddouh gene neh kalo mata dan hati sudah dibutakan sama idola, jadi membabi buta kemana - mana, persis seperti yang imoet alamin selama periode ngeblog ini.....nulisin tentang idola yang seseorang benci...trus nge-junk dimana - mana deh...wkwkwkwkwkwk ^^.
