Album 2NE1 duduki posisi #1 di Filipina

Album pertama 2NE1 yang dirilis pada September tahun lalu, tidak disangka kalau akan meraih sukses yang luar biasa. Dengan banyaknya pre-orders dan lebih dari sejuta viewers di YouTube melihat MV mereka dan ditambahkan dengan 3 kemenangan mereka,, kini menurut data di “Philippines music retailers, Astrochart/Astrovision” album 2NE1 yang berjudul “To Anyone“, telah menjadi #1 best seller dan “First Mini-Album Re-package (CD+DVD)” bahkan duduk di peringkat ke #2.

Para member pun berterima kasih pada Blackjacks di Filipina karena keberhasilan ini dan mereka mengupload sebuah video yang mengekspesikan terima kasih mereka dalam bahasa Tagalog.

Black Eyed Peas’ Poet Name Life ikut serta pembuatan lagu 2NE1..!

Beberapa bulan yang lalu, 2NE1 terbang ke Los Angeles untuk bekerja dengan produser terkenal dan member dari Black Eyed Peas , will.i.am, pada jalur baru ‘internasional’.
Tidak hanya itu, tapi kali ini, mereka juga akan bekerja sama dengan member Black Eyed Peas yg lain, Poet Name Life, kelompok DJ dan co-producer hit multi-platinum, “Boom Boom Pow” .


Poet Name Life baru-baru ini mentweet bahwa ia terbang ke Korea dengan sesama produser Josh One untuk membuat lagu untuk 2NE1. “Mendarat di korea dengan @boomnote josh one! Bersiaplah dengan 2NE1 !!!”, ia berseru.

2NE1 visits a children’s shelter with Sean

Jinusean’s Sean has uploaded pictures of 2NE1 members Minzy, Dara, and CL taking care of infants at a local children’s shelter.

He tweeted, “Sean’s 365 Days of Love, January 19th. I took the 2NE1 members to the Holt Children Home. The children seemed to like 2NE1′s helping hands and 2NE1 enjoyed their time with the small angels. Today’s act (of love).

“Our warm, sweet and beautiful Baby Minji holding a baby… amazing and priceless… Minzy was the very first to put one of the small angels at the Holt Children Home to sleep ^^”

“Dara was second in putting one of the small angels to sleep. Somehow it feels like child Dara will fall asleep with him ^^ Dara’s a good loving idol, great daughter & sister, loyal friend will be a great Mom.”

“Sleeping Angel on CL’s warm and comfortable shoulder… a picture of LOVE… CL fell asleep with the kids smiling. Did she play too hard with the other kids?”

2NE1 group profile

2NE1 (pronounced as To-Anyone or Twenty-One) is one of South Korea’s most popular girl groups, with hit songs like Fire, I Don’t Care and Go Away etc.

The group name 2NE1 stands for 21st Century New Evolution. The four members of 2NE1 are CL, Bom, Dara and Minzy. Check out 2NE1 members profile.
2NE1 were introduced in March 2009 with Lollipop, a commercial theme song jointly released with boy band Big Bang. They made their official debut in May with digital single Fire, which was quite a hit. They released a self-titled mini album in July, which includes another hit song I Don’t Care.
2NE1 released their first full length album, To Anyone, in September 2010, which again did pretty well. They are set to release an English album in 2011.
